It was a landmark evening for Falcon Heights Contracting at the 2026 Vancouver Island Building Industry Awards, held at the Royal BC Museum in Victoria.
The Perch was recognized with three awards:
The evening culminated in Falcon Heights Contracting being named Custom Home Builder of the Year: a recognition not just of a single project, but of a consistent standard of craft, innovation, and client experience across everything we build.
The VIBI Awards cap off a remarkable two weeks. Just days earlier, The Perch won Gold for Best Environmental Initiative at the 2026 Georgie Awards in Vancouver, competing against builders from across British Columbia.
“Builder of the Year isn’t something you win with one project. It reflects the work our entire team puts into every home; the trades, the engineers, the designers, and the clients who trust us to build something extraordinary.” – Dave MacKenzie
The awards ceremony took place inside the Royal BC Museum’s IMAX theatre, preceded by an evening reception in the museum galleries; an incredible backdrop for a night celebrating the best in building on Vancouver Island.
